schwalbe marathon plus or tour version?

Heavier tyre with thicker tread will roll more slowly by 1-2mph. Depends on what you mean by offroad - Pluses are more than adequate for towpaths / gravel but less good in soft conditions
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

    Where are you riding ? I've done MTB trails on the Marathon Plus and they were as good as most MTB tyres.

    Unless your rides are exclusively offroad - I think the Plus is more than enough.

    For some reason my question has gone mising so here is my q again. Im currently running schwalbe marathon pluses they r 29 x 1.75. Ive noticed they do a tour version of hhis tyre 29 x 1.6. If anyone has tried the marathon plus tour can you tell me is this tyre any slower than the marathon plus and is it much better off road also is it the same comfort level. Cheers thanx for any replys
