Just about to take the plunge and buy myself some "Castelli Diluvio Overshoes" for winter, but unsure about the sizing, I take a size 43 euro in both my Sidi's and DHB shoes.
Looking on Wiggle it says I should be buying the Small/Medium - Can anyone help me out on the sizing pls.

Thanks.

  • I have those. I am size 44 in Shimano shoes, and my overshoes are 2XL according to the print on the inside (I have just checked as they are ready to use tomorrow) and they wouldn't want to be any smaller.

    Hope that helps.

if you want them for wet rides, my advice is do not get these, they are the original model with velcro back and they realy do not keep the water out

the newer models with the zip are far superior, i've got the diluvio 16, very good indeed, the new diluvio all road with the ankle seals looks even better, so if you want scorpions go for either of these, they cost more, but they work

sizing depends on how bulky the shoes are, my size 46 spesh s-works are far from bulky but i still go for the xxl and find them snug

  • Just looking at the "Castelli Diluvio 16 Overshoes", it states for my size I should be getting the S/M for a size 43, will that be OK?
  • Alternatively, Sportpursuit are selling the whole range of BBB overshoes that look extremely similar (but no scorpion, :( ) all for around the 15 quid mark.
  • I'm a 41 and have XL in the Diluvio, just put my leg warmers over the top of the ankle seal and they are pretty decent at keeping the wet out. If it's proper wet I use my goretex boots.

tbh unless your shoes are really slipper-like, i'd go for the l/xl size, when they arrive leave all the tags etc. in place and carefully try them on, if they are too big around shoe and/or ankle then wiggle are good about swapping for a different size
