Hi all I'm looking to buy one of the above garmin units.will be using it for basic training and following routes downloaded off net.my question is the breadcrumb trail that the 200 features easy to follow or should I pay the extra for the touring?

  • The Breadcrumb trail is quite good, on a 50 mile ride that I am unfamiliar with I will take the wrong turn about 3 or 4 times as it can sometimes be hard to see where it wants you to go. However it does tell you as soon as you have gone wrong so you just turn around.

If the extra money isn't much of an issue and you will get irritated by taking the wrong turn every now and then get the 810 (or Bryton 50).
  • Thanks for the advice
