Giro Attack Shield

I've been searching for one of these for several months now; hardly anyone seems to have any stock, and if they do it's full whack, which seems to be well over £150.

I finally found one at Koo Bikes, for only £109. Ordered over the weekend, it's already been dispatched.

So just in case anyone else has been looking for one, there you go; in stock and a good price.

I find my Sworks quite noisy at speed, and looks a bit of a lump on my head, so hoping this lid, will be quieter, (And thus more aero) and more slimline. The Shield part means I may be able to dispense with sunglasses, we shall see....

That is a great price on the Giro

I really fancy an aero helmet for races and TTs, trouble is I don't want to look like a complete twonk! And you can't really wear it for anything else other than a race or you'll definitely look like a twonk!

I quite like the look of the specialized evade.... but again, would I look like a twonk?? I dunno. Never sacrifice style for speed an all that.

I saw a bloke wearing one in a race recently and I thought it looked pretty good. If you take the shield off it looks pretty normal really.

Oh and you can get £5 off (and me too!) if you do a friend referral, so pm me if you want one!

One of the most useless helmets made. Useless for TTs, and if you're not a pro you won't see any benefit on road races. It's probably okay on the track, but again if you're not racing at a higer level...
If you've never ridden with a visor, be prepared for it to fog... badly (Giro visors are especially poor). Send it back and get a Kask Mojito.

It's not that bad,for winter time it is good and you can use in normal road racing and tt.Summer is going to be very hot in it,but if you keep Spesh helmet, then no problem.
Altough it does give a bit mushroom look,at least on Katusha's and Garmin's riders

Saw someone wearing one in a race - 'mushroom head' doesn't quite emphasise how odd it looks. Can't really see the benefits - as said, any aero advantage in a RR are negated by the fact you're riding in a big bunch
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

I borrowed Pokerface's Attack for a couple of TTs I did on my road bike earlier in the year. I have to say, I looked even more of a bellend than usual.
