All good things come to an end Stevo. At least you didn't throw away a 3-0 lead to the 4rse.... mind you....

Unfortunately Manure isnt in it, you're still 10 points behind and you're playing the Scousers next.

And not forgetting how many we put past you lot last time we played :D

Weds night was the most complete Spurs performance I've seen in years. We were great against City earlier this season, but this was better. The Lane was booming, great atmosphere. When I went for a beer at half time a bloke had gone a couple of mins early, was watching the telly by the bar when we scored and while celebrating he hurled a tenner in coins all over the floor !!!

Wasn't sure why Poch bought Wanyama in the summer, but he's given us real strength in the middle and allows us to go 3 at the back which we couldn't do without him. Alli will have got all the MoTM comments but it was Wanyama for me.

Was impressed by Costa - he's such a handful.

Have to admit the Spuds were fired up and in form for that game and we had an average game - small margins and all that. Mind you, reading press after the match, Spurs are now acting like Liverpool fans and going round saying 'its our year mate' It's going to be a tough second half of the season, just glad we still have a 5 point cushion.

Indeed. Fair do's, they were determined to avenge us for killing their hopes last season. :D Added to that I think being the team to end our winning run was also a motivating factor. We hardly helped ourselves by having our worst performance for...ooh about 13 games. As you say a long way to go with many twists and turns. Spurs fans shouldn't go buying those 'Champions' t-shirts just yet, look how that worked out for the Scousers!

The Spuds have some previous form with premature celebrations. I think they really weren't happy with us p1ssing on their chips last season :)

Just gets worse for Cherries. Chuck away 3 goal lead to 4rse. Lose 3 nil to Millwall. And now Chelsea are set to recall Nathan Ake from his loan.

There was definitely a bit of revenge in the minds of the players. You're right about small margins, when both teams were in their run of form it didn't take much to turn the game one way or another.

I'm not hearing any Spurs fans saying it is our year, a journal will always be able to find some bellend to come out with a stupid comment but realistically there are 6 clubs in with a chance of winning the league

Surely John Terry is old enough to be a Chelsea Pensioner?

Given the amount of matches that Terry starts, Chelsea will probably just "pick" him for the next game and move on as if nothing happened..
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Looking forward to playing you at the 'theatre of not quite what you used to be'. Then we can sing "We'll race you back to London" to the Manure fans :)

Like I said, when Manure fans get that excited about the League Cup, it shows how much things have gone downhill in the 'Theatre of not quite what we used to be'

Look on the bright side Goo - you'll be able to hurl things and abuse at him every other week. Might even be able to look him straight in the eye if you get a lower tier seat.
