Right.. This may seem stupid but I don't want to mess up
I've found a SRAM X9 Crankarm and Chainring set 2x10, but with no BB
1. Will that work with a Shimano front mech, and KMC 10.93 chain?
2. My bikes BB is '73mm BSA' will I be able to buy a SRAM BB to fit that or is the Shimano one compatible?
Cheers

it should come with a pair of cups.
any pair of GXP cups.
just make sure it is NOT BB30 as you will not fit it."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

It's second hand so there's no cups, it's everything except the BB
It's this with a different size chainring and no BB

But it will work with a Shimano XT front mech and KMC 10.93 chain yea..?0 -
Right, on other forums people said the SRAM crank set works with a Shimano XT front mech so that issue is sorted.
I think the chain will work with a SRAM crankset and Shimano cassette
So I just need to check the one for sale is compatible with the GXP BB that fits a 73mm BB0 -
front mech and chain are not an issue.
68mm or 73mm is not an issue other than using the correct number of spacers.
what is an issue is if it is GXP or BB30."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

like i said 68/73 bb width is not an issue, just use one spacer on the ND side as per the fitting info."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
