2013 frames were recently sold off. A 3XL in "stealth" (black decals on matt black) was advertised and pictured. However, when it arrived it had white graphics on black with a white stripe down the top tube that I can only presume is for fridge magnets.
So a bit of a re-think was in order and a decision taken to go with the black and white theme. An Ultegra 11 speed groupset was purchased and fitted by the LBS with the intention of using pro vibe 7S bars and stem. Unfortunately Canyon use a 1.25" steerer as opposed to a 1.125" so a 90mm Giant stem was used which had the appropriate white stripe on it.
A Fizik saddle topped it off and the Elite bottle cages were a cheap and cheerful colour matched edition.
My dog seems to like it anyway...0 -
Lovely looking dog and great bike.0

Nice bike but the dog is beautiful!0

Thanks chaps. That's Domino a rescue dog from the local dogs home, my only male companion in an otherwise female dominated house.
Re the bike , it will be the first time I've had a compact chainset so I'm curious as to what it will be like.0 -

lol! Paolo if you look carefully in the top picture you'll see the superb Nemesis wheels you built. The front is on the bike behind with the rear resting against the wall.0 -
The thing I like about Canyons is the subtle branding on the frame.....0

Absolutely perhaps it's to assist the visually impaired.
As I mentioned earlier it was described as "stealth". If this is Germany's idea of stealth it's no wonder they lost the big two matches.
I'd be interested to see a Canyon frame make over. Anybody out there done one yet?0 -
A good looking "big" bike.
What size is the frame. C to C C to Top ?0 -

Canyon list it as a 3XL which equates to 64.5cm C to Top. the top tube is a whopping 61.5cm.0 -
When's the 'Big Reveal' when the bike under the sheet with bright red wheels comes out?0
