Shimano acera v brake?

Im planning to replace my cantilever brakes with this v brakes. i read many reviews about this, some say they DON'T have stopping power in wet conditions. And others say they are have "Excellent stopping power!". In this two sites, http://www.mtbr.com/cat/brakes/brake-sy ... 08crx.aspx

    first are your brake levers V brake compatible? if not you will have to change them as well.

    re the brakes, basic but work.

  • yes, its compatible. that's why i replacing my cantilevers. my brake levers is shimano st-ef65 brake and shifter combo.. i need to replace my brakes, bec its so hard to brake in canti's. :| and im worried to my brake levers. and does not have a RED Tag on it, to adjust for canti or v brakes.
