Looking for simple audio mixing software

I want to mix some voice recordings (.amr format) with some mp3 music tracks.
Very basic stuff though - just want to put say 4 or 5 tracks together into a soundtrack (not mixed, just fade 1st track out, short pause then fade new track in) and then overlay that with some voice clips recorded on my phone.
That audio is going to be the narration for a slideshow of pictures. I know how to do a slideshow on Windows Movie Maker - can I use the same software to mix the two audio files together??
