H+SON Archetype rim + Hope pro 3 mono hubs 28R, 24F + Sapim Race spokes

Mininal use. £250. (alleged build cost £550)

  • Is this a quiz? I'd say no.
I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles

That build could easily be over £450 new.
    Yellow is the new Black.
  • 550 new? How does that number come from???
You are looking at 400 new, even less if you supply the hubs

That will teach me to pay more attention - I thought it was CX ray spokes not race. - Doh!!
    Yellow is the new Black.
  • ... also, now Hope has come out with the new MONO RS, which will take 11 speed... which is the way to go if buying new... they are priced the same as the old PRO 3, around 200 for the set. They need to be ordered via a shop though, or you can buy them from Just Riding along, if you are internet-only
  • My take is that as they're described as having 'minimal use' then the OP is looking at a pair of slightly used second wheels rather than looking at buying the separate components.

Yep. Lightly used 2nd hand wheels. Cost 550 allegedly to build and seller is asking 250

Is it me or have Hope taken ages to release a hub for 11 speed, especially for Campag, Shimano is more understandable ....
