hello another newbie to this section of the forum, i have been riding to work and back since april this year.
I currently use a vaude trail light 16litre back pack for my riding to work and back, this seems to be getting too small for what i need to carry and think i need a larger back pack around 25litre capacity.
Can anyone recommend a good value back pack that is cycle specific and ideally waterproof if possible.
I was looking at larger vaude cycle bags but just wondered what people are using ?
I have seen on on ebay this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271297061667? ... 1#shpCntId
thanks

Not sure what you're after by 'cycle specific', thse are good bags though (and cheap)

Personally I'd get a pannier though.0 -

i prefer a backpack as i'm not riding far its 7 miles each way and i've got used to using my mtb bag but this seems a little small for carrying things i need.0 -
Just had a look at CamelBak options and the Blowfish looks to be in their 'bike' range and it's huge!

Got one of these a couple of months ago (although I got new for £20 due to a pricing error...)

Very comfortable on the bike and huge capacity with various storage pockets. Have used it a few times in heavy rain without getting any water ingress.0 -
I got one of these a couple of years ago. It's been great, very comfortable, holds my laptop and a change of clothes easily:

This thread has discussion of similar stuff
I sometimes use an alpkit gourdon 20(20L rolltop drybag rucsac) Great customer service and £22.50 including postage.
As you can see, the one below is slightly larger but a similar price.TimothyW wrote:rubertoe wrote:
Its a little big for my usual commute load and the weather has been dry so I haven't had a chance to test it yet, but can't see anything wrong with it.0
