This one's just appeared on the British Cycling events calender. I'm tempted to enter as a last hurrah of the season. Anyone else thinking the same? Starts and finishes at an eatery and is looking like cake will be in abundance at the finish. I like cake, me! :lol:

    Thanks for posting that.

    I imagine it will be one of the less hilly Sportives being mainly on the Cheshire Plain with some minor (?) climbs eg Peckfordton Hills, Delamere Forest (?). Any idea how much ascent is involved?

    And also, probably up Beeston Castle. I'm using my winter training bike with a 11-25 cassette as I can't see us doing much climbing, if the recent Etape Mercia was anything to go by! :D
