Driving me mad................
Reading through the forum, I click on X and get Y
I know the site needs the revenue from advertising, but does it have to be written by a first year student on a web design course.
One of the first things to learn is .... If the way the advert is written is annoying then by osmosis this will transfer to the product.

    The answer is no.

    Or yes.
I have heard that you can install some software.
I cant remember the name but something like "badlocker" sounds familiar.
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

There is a way but I don't think we are allowed to mention it... Have done it on my iPad

Shame really cos I don't mind advertising per se. If peeps are finding it so irritating that they are turning off all advertising then I can't be productive for the site
  • Does not seem to do it on my iPad , really bad on windows Xp , May have to tun off pop up ads in settings??

I followed a link which gave an alternative DNS setting. After I did this, no annoying jumpy about ads and no adverse effects that I'm aware of....
