Reading through the forum, I click on X and get Y
I know the site needs the revenue from advertising, but does it have to be written by a first year student on a web design course.
One of the first things to learn is .... If the way the advert is written is annoying then by osmosis this will transfer to the product.

I have heard that you can install some software.

There is a way but I don't think we are allowed to mention it... Have done it on my iPad
Shame really cos I don't mind advertising per se. If peeps are finding it so irritating that they are turning off all advertising then I can't be productive for the site0 -
Does not seem to do it on my iPad , really bad on windows Xp , May have to tun off pop up ads in settings??0

I followed a link which gave an alternative DNS setting. After I did this, no annoying jumpy about ads and no adverse effects that I'm aware of....0
