Reba RL v Reba RLT

Looking at RS website the RL adjustments are listed as "External Rebound / Low Speed Compression to Lock" and the RLT as "External Rebound / Lockout Threshold/ Low Speed Compression to Lock".

So the difference is the addition of "lockout threshold", but what does that actually mean? And what exactly does "low speed compression to lock" mean? (I understand what high and low speed compression damping means, and the difference between the two).
