Hi, I'm interested in buying used road bike.

But I have a question for you experts. You see the left sti gear lever seems odd to me, it's way more out than one on the right side. Since I'm not as familiar with sti, could you please tell if it that is a broken lever or something else?

Thanks.

Its Campag and the brake quick release is in the lever. Pull it in and slide the silver pin across to the other side

Can you link some video or photos how is that done?

So it's not any kind of damage or broken lever?

Erm no - just try it. Its as simple as pulling the brake lever in and pushing the pin across with your finger. Takes about 1.5seconds :D

You will see two metal pins at the top of the lever. The lower one is the pivot for the lever, but the upper one is the brake quick release. You just need to pull the lever (as if you were using the brake), and then press this upper pin across. Just play around with it, you should get the idea...
