Bought a 2nd hand CX bike a while back that was fitted with these tyres and swapped them for off road tyres so they've been sitting in my shed. When I put my got my winter bike up and running recently I decided to fit them as they're the widest road tyres I had laying around at 28mm and I'm going for comfort.

Can't find too much info about them but they seem ok so far, just wondering if anyone has experience of them, mainly interested in how well they avoid punctures?

I have them on my commuter/tourer. I did LEJOG on them and suffered 2 punctures (1000mile) and I have had one puncture last week in a torential downpour with a big chunk of glass digging in the tire. So thats 3 punctures in about 6 months of heavy riding (panniers, loaded etc..)
Compared to Schwalbe marathon plus thats pretty crap....but compared to most other tyres I have used its bloody good. I'm happy with them. I'll probably replace like for like after xmas when this pair are worn out.
it looks a bit steep to me.....
  • Had them on my commuter for 7 years,26x1.6.
    get very few punctures.40-50miles/week
Side walls have rotted on a couple after a hard winter
    Roll well.
