Morning mongs,

Hi ho, hi ho, etc etc. Just a cheeky 9am-11pm for me today. Today will also involve shopping for new shifters. Also need to book a hotel as the missus wants a weekend away in York. If anyone has recommendations of things to do/see, please let me know.

    Morning

Yesterday's alcoholic consumption was rather epic considering its a family w.end away - but All bright and cheery this morning!

Today is hang round Shrewsbury and then head home later as one of the guys from the bike shop is having leaving drinks. He is off to cycle across Australia - would be rude not to join in

    Good Morning Freaks!

Got shopping type stuffs to do this morning, then I'll probably do nothing for the rest of the day. Weather's quite biblical out there, so no fettling today. Might build some Lego later. If I'm honest, I'm feeling a bit meh about today.

Woke up grumpy as fark this morning after being woken throughout the night with a neighbour's dog barking it head off. Was going to head out in the car but some clown (not Gazlar) has blocked me in too so I'll have to take 'the other' bike instead. It is due an MOT soon anyway so I might go book it in.

Last night's getting 'H' session was a poor effort. I was so tired I fell asleep in front of the TV after only 4 beers. Tonight efforts will be doubled until a state of complete 'H'dness is achieved.

    Later......

    Morning bumders

Up early for a bit of fettling this morning, just dropped the forks from the roadie down at the decent LBS as opposed to the wankerish one a few doors up the road, needed the steerer chopping for the past 4 years, never got round to it. For some reason today is the day. Now on with some studying and listening to the arse end of F1 qualifying, alarm is already set for MotD and the GP tomorrow, the housemates won't be impressed but I don't give a shit. Hockey later, then more studying. Fun fun fun.

    Hole twerkers!

Had some lovely scoff at one of those posh food pub type places. Got slightly H'd, well thats what my head is telling me now. Bacons just gone in the bacons burning device. Will be loafing and watching rugby league mainly today.

Had a nice lie in this morning. Feeling good today.
Operation Tidy-up shall commence once I've finished this cup of tea (IF I finish this cup of tea! ;) ) where I shall tidy and vac the house. Later I'm meeting an old school friend for a curry whilst he's in town. Should be good.

If she wants you to spend money, go around the shambles (Though I believe they've 'fixed' the road, which I think is treason!). I would recommend the Minster too, it's massive and really worth a trip if you've never been before. The Rail Museum is a good trip too, though if you're not interested in it, you'll be bored quickly. York has lots of nice pubs on the river and down little side streets, so you could just get H'd a lot after watching a play or something.
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

    Morning Cockwombles,

Finally caught up on sleep last night so feeling good. Coffee consumed, jobs done so now I deserve a Full english lunch :) Later will be avoiding more jobs and watching a bit of footy/F1 if all goes to plan.

Always liked the Kings Arms in summer.
  • The Minster, national railway museum, the Shambles, Jorvik centre ( really good whisky shop nearby ) and surprisingly the ghost walk I did wasn't bad ( not usually my cup of tea )

Cheers lads. I do quite like a museum, so I can do that while the missus gets H'd.
