It seems that after I broke my wrist my longs didn't make it back with me from hospital :-( So I'm after a new set and a better memory.

I have a skin condition so I'd prefer a draw string or adjustable waist. Built in pad, suitable for autumn/winter use. Any recommendations? Bib tights don't suit me alas.

Depends on what size you need. These look a good buy...but in small only. I think they have a drawstring on waist too but not 100% sure

Small is a 26-28" waist, bet they don't sell many of those. I'm a 32" and the wife keeps moaning how skinny I look. Thanks though, bargain for someone.

I Think Gore make some with a draw string waist, look on their website http://www.goreapparel.co.uk
    Power Tights+ £79.99
  • Louis garneau do some as well, and evans are 3 for 2 on garneau so you can keep leaving them in the hospital! Think prices are £45 or £80

if you want to go for the really cheapo option, I use ronhill leggings (which are padless) and a pair of aldi cycling shorts underneath - not pretty but functional and great for the early autumn / spring because they aren't fleecy but give just enough wind protection to take the worst off

You can get Ron Hill Bikesters - slightly taller back than Tracksters.

I use them from time to time - very good.

In the end I decided to give bib tights a go. Tried on an Endura set locally but they were only 3/4 leg length, still it gave me an idea for the size. So I've bought some online, I don't like doing that with clothing but none of my LBS had anything suitable.
