Morning Losers!

TFIF! It feels like it's been a long week, though nothing bad has happened, so I shouldn't complain. I'm chairing my first meeting today, so that's going to be interesting.

Off to Bury later, then returning to da Hudd to prepare for Operation Tidy-up Part 2, where I blitz the house.

Laters!

    Morning

Slightly think head this morning due to the delights of cider last night, but in a great mood as I'm off today with the wife and kids.

Just watching f1 practice reply with a cup of earl gray whilst waiting for the wife to get up and cook a full English, life is good

    Mornin,

Off to Cannock for a ride then working at 3pm. Gonna be a long one.

    later

edit: picked up and fitted some Reba teams last night as rockshox apparently have my rebas which broke just riding along, nowhere near wales and which I definitely did not ride for another 4 days after they broke.

    morning all,

had a good ride with northern monkey and our mate niel last night. I love night riding, I even got a 2nd best time (my time not KOM) on the final descent at CC in the dark 8)

lots of work to do today but I can't start it until 11.30, which means i'll probably be working late tonight :x

    anyway,

That's a big TFIF from me too. It's been a very trying and tiring week.

The level of muppetry and childish dummy spitting going on in this company just defies belief. What we need is a damn good thinning out of all the pointless, self important eejits around here.

Just over four hours to go then I'm off to play badminton for a few hours. I think I might get H'd tonight. I have a fridge full of fine ales and two bottles of red wine, litre sized, so I'll collect a pizza on the way home and let the slobbing out commence. 8)

    Later......

    + Potato

    Good Morning Freaks!

Doing secret stuffs in work today (hence why I'm on my netbook...).

Received an excellent email overnight - I'd ordered a set of BMX bars and a U-brake from Ebay, bars came with brake levers, not the brake. Contacted seller, he's going to send out the brake and I don't need to return the levers. :D

Apart from that, looking forward to popping into the post office tomorrow to get all my other bike related bits and bobs. Don't think I'll get chance to do any fettling though as I'll be getting all my stuffs ready for my trip to Shanghai at the end of next week.

I have coffee and...*pause for dramatic effect* ...PIE! Yes, that's right folks, I have two of Morrison's finest chunky steak pies for 2nd breakfast.

    Laters...

Yeah Il echo thank fark its friday.

Going up norf to leeds later to see the cirque du soleil so that should be good (apart from being up norf, obviously), any one seen it? Other than that, sausage & hash brown bagguette, tea, rollies and waiting for a new powerlink to arrive is going to fill the gap.

    Morning mongs

Have purchased lots of parts from Merlin and now all I need to do is stay away from On-One where I'm bound to buy a Ti 456 Evo frame to go with them

Off to Tunstall this afternoon for a couple or three loops of the Viking Trail where I'll also try and find some more edible mushrooms, then Orford for some smoked meat products. Weekend should be fun, out in the mud tomorrow and then 80 miles on the road in the wind and rain on Sunday.

Easily possible if you pick the wrong mushrooms.

Been collecting edible plants since I was 10 but only started with mushrooms this year and no issues yet. Just need to remember that as with everything else if you get complacent you're in trouble (but yes I did sit waiting for cholera like symptoms to appear after the first few)

Friday woo. Just got soaked walking back from the shop to get food. Had a not too bad three day week. Just have a stack of work to do at home this weekend as while I was away my clients decided to have a whinge party and just bombard my assistants with stupid questions which I now have to answer. And I'm being transferred a load of narky clients from other solicitors because I know how to deal with these kind of people apparently. Oh and I'm now a signatory on the company accounts sooooo wooo more responsibility = more money for me.

Uni sibling is back this weekend for a visit so the family are coming to Cardiff. Was tempted to go see the Rugby League games in the stadium tomorrow but I'm feeling lazy and feel like a weekend of hiding from the rain and working coming on.

Great memories of the ccc2cc today as I rode round Cannock after having my rear shifter implode 5 minutes in, thus leaving me with 2 useable gears. By the end, my front shifter had died as well, leaving me with only 24-36 making for a very spinny last section.

Traffic chaos in Notts meant I was an hour late getting into work, but at least there is no-one to tell me off!

    Evening Mongs,

Couldn't log in at work for some reason - forum seems to be not happy with some versions of IE. Anyway WTF, its Friday night, I've had a couple of beers and pedalled home so time to chill.

Evening losers, not a bad day today. Both kids at school so out first thing on the bike, then met the other half for dinner in the pub. She then went out for tea with her mates so once kids fed, watered and put to bed a crate of Bud was attacked...and still is being.
