Evening all
Next year im looking to upgrade the garage to a proper bike workshop. I have some ideas on what i want, but im looking for inspiration from you lot. Appreciate that not everyone has a workshop, but for those that do, even if its the kitchen table, post up some pics and specs

My garage is currently an unlit, cold, rubbish storage room........it needs to be cleared out, lit & heated. I have been saying this for 3 years so far but you know how it is.
So generally most repairs are done in the kitchen (unless the wife is out then in the lounge).0 -
I have 3 workshops, when it's dry, it's the back garden, when it's wet it's the utility, if the bits are clean I can use the living room (less so since we had the cream carpet fitted!).....I've built a total of 12 bikes up in those three places.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

If you are making a garage, make sure you paint the walls white. If you can justify the extra cost, go for gloss paint it wipes much easier when you spray oil up the wall!
Also, assuming the floor will be bare concrete, make sure you seal it and then paint it, some sort of light grey seems to work best. It will keep the dust down.0 -
