2011 Canyon Nerve XC...Shock Size ?

Guys, am i right in thinking that the above Nerve XC takes a 190 x 51 Rear Shock ?

Can anyone who has one of the above, please confirm if this is so.

the 2014 shocks are out the now (mine should arrive any day) you might be able to find a 2013 RT3 at a good price but I couldn't find an 2013 RC3 in 190x51

Why dont you ride it for a bit first before swapping the shock. The shock it comes with will be tuned for the frame and unless its a seriously crud shock it will probably work better than a random shock that will need a £100+ tune up to work properly with the frame.

might not come with a shock and they aren't always to personal taste if they come as stock

Stubs...i agree. Trouble is the Frame is coming to me without the shock. Im sure a new shock will work good enough for what i want it to do. I'll see wait and see.

Hi Compo, if you have your bike within reach, could you do me a big favour and measure between the Shock Lugs for me. I need to get the Shock Mounting Kits for which ever shock i get and it would be handy to know in advance what size i need to order. It dont tell you on the Canyon website.
