My new XT shifters (with cables) just arrived
I've opened it up and there is only 1 metal end cap, but I'd assume 2 are needed..?
Anyone else had this? And anywhere I can buy a few cheaply?

Sorry should have been more clear
It's the little metal cap that covers the end of the cable to stop it fraying when cut0 -
As nick says. Any lbs. I use old wheel nipples when I don't have one0

When you cut the end of the cable put some super glue on the end (on 0.5cm of cable maybe), leave to dry overnight and it holds everything in place nicely. No fraying, no issues - very reliable.'Happiness serves hardly any other purpose than to make unhappiness possible' Marcel Proust.0 -
