Ok folks, there is method in my madness but im looking to replace the 130 fork on my 2012 fsrpro with either a 140 or preferably 150 fork. I understand that this will slacken the head angle and raise the front end to make it a bit unweildy at climbing but do you think the frame will take it? and what are the major issues?

The frame snapping and you dying.
Not a major issue for me, but it might be for you.

Really really bad idea, that length of travel and the riding style to use it is way outside the window the frame is meant to work in, just don't.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
  • ok just checking. new frame it is then :)
