Tough Light Wheelset

One of the upgrades planned for the Canyon is a wheelset.
I've currently got a superstar switch set on their DH-595 rims which weigh around 2100g.
They've been bombproof and i've had zero issues in the year and half of owning them but I now want something lighter.
Looking for something to sit between enduro/DH, I'm around/under 16st, but I ride light and have never had issues with wheels before (I've got xt rims on my xc bike and ride it pretty hard, again had zero issues).
I'd been considerings Stans Flow EX rims, but I think I'll still be looking at c.1900g for a pro2/switch wheelset and I'd like lighter.
Not sure if the Arch will be too light?
The Mavic EN821 on Pro2 looks promising, but they're only a touch lighter than Flows.
Money, looking at £300-£400, kicking myself for not buying the Easton Havoc wheelset for £300 a few months ago 1750g is my target weight I reckon.

Anyone had any time on a set of Crossmax SX wheels?
EDIT: Hmm, maybe i'm over estimating the weight of flows. Stans webby says just over 1723g which is about what I want. Can anyone confirm this?0 -
I've been smashing my ArchEX down Alps for two seasons now (on a hardtail) and they are still spot on. I'm about 80kg in full kit so a fair chunk lighter than you. Bear in mind every descent over here is pretty much a full on rocky, DH trail and my line choice even when riding the hardtail leaves a lot to be desired. I've got Crossmax SX, on an enduro bike but I use it for DH and XC and never had any problems. Just quite expensive but it comes with all the axle adapters, tubless valves and is UST which I like.YT Wicked 160 ltd

I'd have these - http://www.bike-discount.de/shop/k735/a ... black.html
You'll need the correct adapters, but they're cheap and will still be a bargain! Also well under the 1750g weight target and will be plenty tough enough I would imagine0 -
How does the saying go?

I thought £400 was pretty reasonable for a wheelset!
Lawman, I'd been looking at the same ones but on flows for the same price. I'm useless at rim spec and most googling suggests flows over arches for a big lad on a big bike so I'm in 2 minds!!0
