Average speeds - new data

So, Strava now has leaderboards for clubs. This allows sorting by things such as average speeds.
Maximum so far this week for SCR is 32.1 km/h (19.9 mph) for someone who has done one ride.
Next fastest is 30.5 km/h (18.95 mph)

Mine is 23.5 km/h (14.6 mph) :?

Think it's interesting information anyway & a good reference point for when people ask about average commuting speed.

Yes I'm liking this too... Stretches the concept of club to mean any random collection of individuals who sign up to the same group though. So you can belong to loads if you wish. I don't suppose that's an issue really. Also gives leaderboard for best climber as well. I'm thinking of starting one for cantankerous old gits who live in cornwall. Then I can monopolise the leaderboards for it...

Liking it, especially as I'm 4th with 18.2mph over a 27 mile ride. Need to get a club 10 in there, average will be around 26mph :twisted:

Seems about right, I pottered about yesturday so slow, though it's fairly short commute either way, so average speed is never high.

Though I'm a cautious/careful filterer so my average speed though traffic isn't high.
