Just wondering if anyone can suggests a good, strong saddle that doesn't cost too much..
Doesn't have to be light but comfy(ish) for all day rides but strong enough for enduro, also not too wide to allow me to lean back
Thanks

Bought one a few weeks ago.
Comfy
Not too heavy
Not too expensive
Looks nice

Or Madison Flux (they're both the same saddle, basically, from the same factory).0

I currently use a Madison Flux, personally I find it a bit hard. I quite like to Superstar Peak, in leather and titanium.Planet X Kaffenback 2

I have a Bell air. Previous saddle was a spoon. Both are good seats for the money.
The bell-air is more padded so I find it more comfortable on longer rides. (But the back of the seat is a little more raised and wider, making it harder to get off the back of the saddle).2007 Felt Q720 (the ratbike)

Charge Spoon. Lightish, has survived numerous spills and well priced if you shop around.0

Charge scoop for me, I find it more comfortable than the spoon. It looks cooler (more importantly) and I think it's a smidgen lighter0

Twice the price though.I don't do smileys.

Charge Spoon is good for the money but found it got uncomfortable on longer rides.
Switched to a Bel Air and imho much better saddle.0 -

I went the other way. Whats comfortable for one person isn't for someone else.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -

Good choice, but protect the underside from wet mud! I have a Charge Spoon on the Scandal - it's OK, but not as comfy as the stock saddle on the Hardrock was.Specialized Roubaix Elite 2015

Madison Flux for me, just under £20 deliverd from Tredz, looks good if a little firm.Paracyclist

Spoon on my bikes too, as above it's not only comfortable but also very tough and takes the knocks very well.0

Seems there's a clear favourite.. Thanks guys
I'll shop around for a Spoon of Flux on offer (seeing as they're the same)
I also wear padded shorts so the padding on the saddle is less of a worry0 -
I don't have to wear padded shorts with mine - must have struck lucky with the saddle design and my arse lol0

Haha sorry no
I mean a saddle that isn't so wide that it's hard to move around on the bike as it will be used on DH and I don't want to keep catching the sides of the saddle0
