Love it, excellent. Not tempted by discs?
Van Nicolas Aquilo SE / Lynskey Sportive Di2C / Cannondale CAAD12 Disc
    Cervelo P3C / Cervelo P3 / Cervelo Soloist / Turner 5 spot
  • I was very tempted by the Kinesis Tripster ATR, but was even more tempted by the Gran fondo

I get the feeling that the pictures don't do the bike justice, nice!

    This^^
  • Great bike, but maybe add a bit more chain. I know you won't ever ride in this gear with both large cogs, but the derailler seems very streched.

It could be due to the chain having to cater for such a wide ratio cassette. But I am sure tommo can answer that.
  • Thanks for the comments.

You're right the photos don't do the bike justice which is a shame as it is an amazing ride and looks great in the flesh (so to speak).

As for the chain, all I can say is this is the one supplied with that groupset. It is a long cage rear derailleur and wide ratio cassette so probably exacerbates the issue, but works perfectly well so I have no problems with it, but yes would rarely if ever ride in that combination...it does adhere to the photo rules though :|

For me the ride quality knocks spots off carbon and the groupset is almost flawless.
