Removing logos from Athena cranks

I've got an Athena alloy chainset that's suffered a bit of heel rub so looks a little untidy. I think it'd suit the bike better without the logos as well.

Can anyone recommend a method of removing the logos? Any recommended products?

Thanks in advance.

No, it's not to prevent further scuffing, more to make them look tarty. Ideally I'd send them away somewhere to have them mirror polished, but that ain't gonna happen.

  • Someone a short while ago on here posted a very good way of cleaning up cranks. It had a lot to do with very fine emery cloth and a tub of Brasso I think. Do a bit of a word search on here, I'm sure you'll find something.
