Wheel Upgrade for Canyon Nerve 29er

I'm a relative newbie to MTBing and would appreciate some advice on the following. I am seriously considering buying a Canyon Nerve AL 8.9 29er (http://www.canyon.com/_en/mountainbikes ... ab-reiter2) and I would like to buy a wheelset upgrade to get the weight of the bike down a bit.
Can anyone recommend a good/compatible wheelset upgrade for this bike? I'm thinking in the range of £300-£500.

Why not buy the AL 9.9 which is £400 more, 800g lighter, and comes with a lighter, better wheelset, and far superior brakes?0
