Cool dad, down boy!!!
OP, you haven't provided any useful information to help people advise you apart from a rough budget.0 -
As you haven't said what type of riding you'll be doing/what the bike will be used for, it would be hard for anyone to suggest what will suit you0

Downhill ride with jumps on some free weekends, would like mtb manoeuvrable as much as possible so thinking about 26" wheels. Definitely looking for a full suspension. And for the rest of the time i dont mind to use it on any offroad like to have it by the hand when going to watch rally in Wales.
P.s. im not a kid or youngster budget is earned of hard work & savings. Spend a long time in young days adventuring with bikes and then had a big gap not using it at all at the moment commuting to work with road race bike and very interested in MtB so i have no money spending twice so rather one big budget and for all, even it could be less then that .Chose this forum cause off valuable info not for having laugh at anyone. Thx0 -

Downhill bikes are very specialised and only good for downhill riding due to their weight, setup and ride position. Maybe you need a more flexible trail bike which will handle downhill but can also be used for general trail riding as well. £2,500 is a lot of money to spend without a very clear idea of what you want from a bike.
When I bought my last bike I made the following list of what I was after :-
XC style hardtail mountain bike
Good travel on front suspension and very adjustable.
Disc brakes with good sized rotor at front
2 x 10 gearing with ratio's for off and a bit of on road
Stiff light weight frame
Good feel / handling
You may want to think carefully what you want from the bike.0 -
