Alivio triple crankset fitted - but front mech can't reach

I have a bike with a Shimanio Alivio triple chainset fitted. It used to have a Shimano Acera one. The trouble is, the Alivio just sits further out from the frame than the Acera and this means that the front mech cannot swing out far enough. Even with the High stop screw wound right out - I can see the mech's arms are at full stretch on the middle ring.

It's a square taper BB, 122.5mm long.

Options?

Replace with Acera?

Space out the BB somehow?

Replace the front mech to one with more throw?

sounds like you need a new BB with the correct axle length.

you need a 113mm axled BB.
