Does anyone know where i can get 167.5 crank arms?
I would ideally like a pair included in a 6800 Ultegra purchase and then any set that will go with a 105 groupo on my winter bike.
Had a Retul bike fit today and it was recommended due to my short inseam.
170mm is no problem but cant find 167.5
Suggestions?

Just keep searching the internet although High on Bikes usually come up trumps. I got SRAM Red 165mm crank arms from them with no trouble.I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.0

the OP wants 167.5 not 165.
i think the older DA 7800 and earlier was available as 167.5 but from then on, not, so ebay and 2nd hand ?
Hipath engineering can shorten cranks but you d need to start with a set that is at least 187.5 and they d need to be Stronglight or TA solid crank arms, not HollowTech
but would nt you be better off with 165 ?(which you can get in 6700 at least) and what point is a retul fitter advising something that isnt really available?0 -
Specialities TA re the only people making this size. The come in several styles and BCD sizes for different ring combinations. TA rings are amongst the best, compatible with Shimano.
TA used to be a really famous brand that everyone in the cycling world knew, both for top quality and the the biggest range of crank lengths. I am amazed that a professional fitter has never heard of them and would seriously question his knowledge.0 -

I'm aware of that, I was emphasising that HoBs came up trumps for what I was seeking.I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.0 -

If 170 is ok to use, then I would just go for those. You may stuggle to find 167.5 in the format/spec you are after...0 -
I don't think they make them any longer. They used to be common, but now they only make 170 +left the forum March 20230

mmm....maybe a good excuse to get a stages power meter
*edit. Maybe not. that would only cover 1 leg :P

I wouldn't worry about it, I use 170mm which are supposedly 5mm longer than I should have and it's not a problem.0

Without back to back testing with a power meter you will never know.I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.0 -
165mm are readily available from a few brands - SRAM in particular. If you're a spinner, not a masher then a short crank can help for things like seated climbing - I even have 165mm on my MTB.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
