[Obvious]Yes Modmins and Goderators, this is being posted in the Crudcatcher, because I trust the answers I receive here will be much more appropriate and relevant to my requirements[/Obvious]
So the brakes on the Coiler (Hayes HFX9's) have seen better days (they don't work anymore...), so I'm thinking of replacing them. Don't wish to spend toooo much money on the replacements, approx £100 for both ends. Don't need rotors/disks or adaptors, just the levers and calipers.
Advise me oh mentally challenged ones...

Brakes are for losers. It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

I am sadly disappointed with how this thread started, but it seems to have picked up towards the end. Still, I'm shocked that no-one suggested one of these:

Or something like this set up:

As the Formula site's down, looks like I'll be either getting the Shimano ones, or landing in a few bushes...0 -
Surely the fastest way for you to slow down would be to smash the frame to pieces so that the wheels won't spin.....0

This is el cap remember he'd just plough a groove in the pavement using his jockey wheel as his back wheel0
