hi everyone,

I bought a Pinnacle redart 1.0 of my friend and am looking to upgrade it. Could you please suggest some frames for it or frame specifications that I need to look out for when buying a new frame.

Many thanks.

    What's wrong with the frame?

  • very small; fit for dirt jumping etc., I want to move onto xc and have tried many trials with this frame and know that it's not right and need a decent xc/trial frame.

That's because it's a jump bike with, if it's standard, really budget components.
    What is the spec?
Then list what you have, with sizes.
Then find a frame that will take them.
I'd be dubious as to whether it's worthwhile. Just find a second hand Carrera or something.

  • As above, it doesn't look worthwhile. Sell it for what you can and get a XC bike.

Few jump bike suitable parts are what you want for XC, even more so if they are the budget (heavy) end of the scale......
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    as mentioned by the others.

    new bike time.

sell the jump bike and buy an XC bike.
