I bought some MFX Pure padded shorts,i wore them today for first time and my butt ached more than with no padding. My question is do you have to get used to the extra padding or are they just rubbish cycling shorts?

Don't know that make but know that endura humvee are extremely comfortable with padded liner shorts .0

Padded shorts were originally designed to prevent chafing, not act like pillows.I don't do smileys.
