Trousers?

Can anyone recommend some waterproof trousers for commuting?

Or should I just go shorts and leg warmers? If so, anyone know of any cheap baggies?

WP trousers work OK for slower paced riding and on colder days. I like Montane Atomic, they are breathable, a nice fit and good value.

I've been using the Aldi waterproof trousers from their last sale. Not too bad, definitely waterproof (been put to test three times this week), wearing a pair of track suit bottoms underneath seems to stop them boiling my legs. To be fair though, I'm only commuting around 7 miles each way.
IIRC, they were £9.99, might be worth checking your local store to see if there's any left
