Hey Guy's,
Thought I'd post a couple of pics up of what changes have evolved over the last 9 months of ownership. I was a complete novice to road biking but through research and some help from Forum members have put together and upgraded what I think is a not to shabby bike!
Life started with a combo of 105, Tiagra FSA, & Tektro. groupset that has now been modded to Ultegra albeit the shifters that I'm tempted by at some point!
A new Selle Italia SLR saddle and a nice set of Chinese hoops has transformed it all nicely and weighs in at sub 8 kilos. I'm thinking of changing the bars and stem for a carbon set too but am undecided. 40-50 milers seem so effortless that tell me I've a good bike under me!
Happy day's me thinks but It will be grounded for the winter months on the TT.

Looks good as it is, I wouldn't bother changing stem and bars for carbon if it's just to save a bit of weight.0

Greetings,
Added a few more upgrades and mods over the past couple of months that now include a set of Chinese made Zipp bars that I acquired for a song and have to say are quality! They look brilliant and feel extremely nice to ride alas I will be changing over to the Giant Aero bars http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-gb/gea ... 2/54725/to complement my new SLR OD2 stem later in the Spring.
A gorgeous day in sunny Kent today at 9-10' and stuck in 26 miles up to the Wye Crown to see how things felt and happy days!
