Frame clearances allowing, can I put 700x32C tyres on a pair of Mavic Ksyrum Equipes that are makred up 622x13c that are currently running 700x23c tyres, or co I need specific wider rims? What about tubes, would I also need 'wider' tubes in the 32c's?

Many thanks.

Ksyrum Equipes are specified to accept a tyre from 19-32mm - so no reason why not. It might take a bit of experimenting to find the right 32mm tyre to fit.

You'd be best buying new tubes for the fatter tyre yes.

There's more likely to be better choice at 28mm (and even more next year) and 28mm is a great size for comfort whilst still having decent weight etc.

My 32c Vittoria Randonneurs are much narrower than the 32c Schwalbe Marathons they replaced
  • 32 are nice... you can use small tubes or you can go for slightly bigger ones... I have used both successfully... normally carry the tiny ones as spares
