Anybody got one?
Looking at maybe getting one for christmas.
Currently I've got a specialized s3 helmet new this year but it looks rather bulbous on my head.
I've ridden many types of helmet ( giro aeon, ionos, atmos, pneumo, rudy projects and others)
I'm looking for a helmet with low stack, looks good and fits well plus any aero benefit is good.
i originally wanted an aero road helmet but they all look crap or well overpriced.
The genesis can have an aeroshell fitted which is best of both worlds.

Yes I've had one for the past couple of years and it's a great helmet. One of the reasons I liked it was that unlike other brands it didn't feel like it was just plonked on top of the head.

My head is on the larger side and no other make of helmet felt as comfortable. I think it's the Rollsys system which tends to fit more to the circumference of the head, really quick and easy to adjust too. A very good, airy and comfortable helmet. I'm looking at getting the Helium now as I think it's time for a new one. Not the lightest but nothing that you'd notice.

I would recommend getting spare pads when you buy as trying to get spares later on can be a bit of a hassle, especially for a helmet that's a couple of years old.

I have both and the Genesis is definately the better helmet for non mushroom look. I use it most of the year but tend to sweat alot in high summer, so then use the S3. I agree about pads they're difficult to get hold of,

+1 to all the positive comments. It fits around your head rather than just on top, fitting is easy with the roc-loc system. By far the comfiest helmet ive used! The attachments that you can get for it also come in very good, the rain/aerodynamic cover is very useful. I have a friend who would agree with all the positive comments apart from he found it rubbed on his forehead, which was simply resolved with lazer genesis gel inserts. If you buy one you will wonder why you ever used another helmet!
