Hi All

I am seriously considering buy a Canyon Nerve AL 9.9 SL as it looks like a brilliant bike for the money. However, one concern I have is what do you do if you have a problem with your bike or one of its components? Do you have to send the complete bike back to Canyon or do they have places around the UK that you can take your bike to for repairs?

Cheers.

I believe they now have a UK based operation, which deals with such issues.

The rear Fox shock started leaking on my Nerve so I just sent it to Mojo (UK Fox service centre) with a copy of the original Canyon receipt.
Got it back repaired within 48 hours :o

Thanks for the replies so far.

I'm still a bit unsure as to what would happen if you had problem with a Canyon bike? For example, lets say your bottom bracket was crunching and probably needed replacing. Would you have to get your complete bike to the UK service centre which I presume is near London somewhere?

BB is generally not a warranty item, so just replace it, either yourself or LBS.

Ok, the BB was a bad example.

What do you do if a part covered by the warranty needs looking at/replacing?

Take some photos, e-mail Canyon, they'll then suggest you take to an LBS and they'll cover reasonable costs or if it's major take the bike/part back.

    Thanks. That sounds reasonable!
