2013 Basso Astra rear hanger problem !!
I was the proud owner of a 2013 Basso Astra until last week.
A little accident on a wet Saturday morning, a damaged rear mech hanger, and not being able to find a replacement hanger looks like I've been left with a load of scrap carbon fibre.
Slowly loosing the will to live with my ( 3 month old ) Italian road bike.
If anybody could help me find a replacement hanger ( even states replacement on the spec list ) I would be very grateful for your help.

Most hangers are standard items - although there are lots of them, obviously. Have you tried the Wheels Mfg site?

If you have spare evening check here as well. No listings for Basso but chances are they'll have what you need. Just enter how many mounting holes in the "hanger style" box in the upper left corner of the webpage to narrow it down a bit. http://derailleurhanger.com/allderailleurhangers.htm0

Have you spoken to the shop you bought the bike from? if they have just run out then they will be ordering more."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

You definitely cannot get the hangers. Would you post me the frame so I can recycle it? 8)0 -
A light at the end of the tunnel
After sending a couple of e-mails Basso got in touch with me regarding the rear mech hanger.
2012 - 2013 hangers are both the same design. Unfortunately their web page was not giving the proper information regarding the specs and year for manufacture.
Basso are addressing the problem and have sorted me out a new one
Thanks to everyone for their help on the forum and Basso customer services.0 -
Yeah Basso.
See a small Italian frame builder is the way to go :-)
They do not do touch up pens though :-(Yellow is the new Black.0 -

Is the rear hanger broken or just bent? You could always apply a bit of heat to the bent hanger and using a flat surface straighten it.I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.0
