Mtb from Halfords

I'm a road cyclist and recently took my 9 yrs old Mongoose Ht to the Afan Valley Mtb centre where I somehow descended the wall (albeit very slowly). I plan to do more mountain biking within the Afan and Cwmcarn and am looking to purchase a new mtb though the cycle to work scheme. I need to purchase this through halfords as the scheme is run through them and have come up with a few possibilities. I have posted the links below and would be grateful for any advice on the below suggestions and whether I need a ht or fs? Thanks
