PLanet X wheel freehub

I have a planet x model b wheel (i think its model b), i bought a new freehub because the old one was cut in too much and the cassette wasnt lining up properly as a result.

anyway i removed the old freehub, and fitted the new one. it now wont spin freely when on the bike.

any suggestions?

i think its a novatec hub. think being the operative word here as planet x dont even know what hub the wheel has

Sorry, can't help with the diagnosis......but I had a set of Model Bs a long time ago, some spokes broke and I gave them to a friend for spares. I'm pretty certain I bought what I believed to be a spare freehub and it's a pro-lite Allein.

I still have it BNIB, you are welcome to give it a try.

Did you miss a washer or something when you put it back together?

Is the new freehub identical to the old one?

that would be brilliant. im not too far from you either! im in wembley. So if i have missed a bit and its the same one that would be awesome.

not that im aware of. and my mate whos a mechanic had a go as well, but we cant work it out.

yes its identical.

You have probably left the old washer inside the hub and now you have two washers which prevent the freehub to run... I have done that a few times

nope. just took the freehub off again and theres nothing inside.

tried to fit the new one as kindly donated by mzm70 above. but that didnt work either. same problem. sticky freehub.

I stripped it down again tonight to check i wasnt doing something wrong.

i removed the outside oil seal as it felt like that was causing an issue. it wasnt.

im annoyed.

i need this wheel
