Trek hard tail 9

Hi just looking for a bit of advise, looking to mix my winter training up this year so I'm thinking about buying a MTB, I've been offered a used 2011 trek Hard Tail 9 for £1000, it's in good condition and I get a set of winter and summer tyres.

IS THIS A GOOD DEAL??

You mean Top Fuel 9? Full suss not hardtail.

You've probably seen this for the 2010.

These are very racy bikes. Will be light and quick, but with only 100mm travel and steep xc geometry not very forgiving on more technical terrain.
