Another windproof jacket question

I've read some interesting threads on choosing windproof jackets but I have a more specific question, hopefully someone can help me with.

I have a Pearl Izumi Zephrr jacket that I used throughout the whole winter with varying other layers and I like it a lot. With only a long sleeve thermo shirt it's warm enough for temperatures as low as 0 degrees and when it gets below that I usually don't bike because of ice and snow etc. However, the jacket is awfully wide and the flapping drives me nuts so I want to buy a new jacket with similar wind blocking properties but a very slim fit but I can't figure out from websites which jackets fit the profile.

All the jackets in the price range I'm looking for (e.g. Vaude air jacket, Sportful hot pack 4) seem a lot thinner than the PI jacket, will they be equally wind resistant?

Or order every jacket you like the profile of from Wiggle, once you have found the one that fits nice send all the others back.

Failing that stop looking on line and go to a bike shop and try some on.

I thought of that but I get the feeling from different reviews I've read and pictures I saw that pearl izumi makes all their jackets with wide sleeves so I'm looking for another brand. I kind of had my mind set on the Sportful Hot Pack 4 but I felt it at a bikeshow the other day and was surprised about how thin the fabric is. Same is true for the Vaude Air jacket (that one even advertises with letting 20% of wind through as a way of increasing breathability). I also wonder about the Castelli squadra. I would consider ordering a few but I won't be able to test them properly in temperatures ~0 degrees.

I use this in winter. Mega warm just a single base layer underneath down to 0 degrees, but I've been fine down to -8 with an extra thermal layer. If its over 10 degrees it can be a bit on the warm side though.

I'm 6ft 1, 79kg and I wear a medium and its a tight fit all round with no flapping

Thanks for the input! This is not exactly what I'm looking for though, the zephrr jacket can also be folded and I also use it for downhill in the Alps etc, it's really just a windjacket I'm looking for. I also have a softshell that I use as a normal jacket in the summer but in the winter usually the thin wind jacket is enough. Also it's slightly beyond my budget...

If I'm not wearing that then I'll just use arm warmers and gilet. Aero jacket is supposed to be good too, but I've not tried it.

That one I'm gonna keep in mind, it fits what I'm looking for perfectly and given it's the same brand the fabric might be similar too. I'm thinking now I should send pearl izumi an email and ask them which of jackets they currently sell is what I'm looking for.
