Was looking earlier this year and handtec.co.uk was the cheapest I found. Didn't buy in the end so can't comment on service but they were the cheapest I found

Just check all bike retailers and also amazon / halfords and buy from the cheapest. I ended up using amazon a few months back.

Bought my original 705 from Israel on ebay and never had a problem with it or the supplier. Cheaper than the UK even with shipping too. My 810 came from good old Wiggle.
I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.

I just got a new reconditioned NOH Garmin 500 from Wiggle for £127, with a full guarantee, which I think is a good price...

I would definitely not buy Garmin overseas - there are simply too many warranty issues with their products to take the chance with. My 705 went phut, my 800 has had numerous problems and a pal's new 810 fried itself on a wet ride (water managed to get in through the 'gaskets').

I bought my 500 from Handtec. Was dispatched very promptly so no complaints. Just annoyed with myself for not buying the full bundle.

I bought a new 510 from e bay (uk seller)this month and wish I had bought it from a shop. It has never been able to up load to a computer despite endless plug in downloads / help site searches /re boots etc etc.Now use my old cateye again and try not to dwell on the error. Halfords were only £30 more expensive but would have saved in the long run.
