got to replace my beloved orbea with something sub £600, it will be mostly used on a trainer and for the occasional winter ride when its not too cold or scary.
wont be doing a test ride and will most likely be buying online. (so don't lecture me about getting a test ride)
im 6.3 so most of the sales stuff isnt in my size (ie the basso devil on wiggle)
im thinking a focus culebro 5 2013 (£584), a scott speedster 60 2014 (£500), or a felt f95 2013 (£488.60).
whats the best value of these 3 in peoples opinions? - im not too bothered how you think they ride as everyone thinks what they ride is god generally so they are not objective.
please no other suggestions just these 3, thanks

Wouldn't get any of thoose 3. I would want something with tiagara or 105 & in that price bracket which you can get for £600 in your size on the internet.0

Not sure Focus dealers are supposed to ship, meant to be store collect only.
Scott has a 7 speed groupset, would rule that out.
Felt looks ok for the money.
Focus looks the nicest, but an extra £100 more...0 -

Hi, new to this forum & to road cycling, but just thought I would mention Wiggle's own brand "Verenti Belief".
Shimano Tiagra shifters / front & rear
7005 alloy frame (I believe it's a Ridley frame)
Carbon forks
4ZA peripheries / Alex rims
FSA crank
@ £592 delivered
I'm 6'2" with 37" inside leg & the large fits. (the frames are quite large apparently)
Worth a look perhaps?0 -

you are correct, i should have explained myself better, i will reserve it from je james then travel up north to pick it up.
if im travelling all the way im not going to reject it on a test ride.
i think the focus of the 3 does look the best, but for my need, the extra cost and petrol/rail costs of buying it are not worth it.0 -
