    morning

up for the GP, with the older rug rat playing on my iPhone whilst I play with a reforecast - living the dream.

Later is see my grandparents, then out for a boozy lunch for the mother in law (shame I'm driving) then back to the local where I can. Later is the first w.end in ages where we have no guests - the wife is happy, me, meh.

Up early to fetch a parcel, turns out I mis-remembered the delivery office, so will have to go durng the week instead.
So I'm going to have a leisurely breakfast of porridge with dried apple and honey, then load the car with two flavours of Fuels and head to Sutton Coldfield to pick up my little bro, and then to Cannock for his first experience of trail centre mountain biking.
If he survives this we're meeting my partner in crime and going drinking in Birmingham.
Not bad as far as Saturdays go.

    Morning bumders

Busy week at uni culminating in getting home yesterday to find out yesterday that apparently I need 2 wisdom teeth out, they're not hurting me or anything anymore and I've managed to live with them fine for the past 6 years or so, as such I'm of the opinion the dentist just wants the money.

Was also housemate's birthday last night, went to a cabaret down in London to celebrate, great night out but bloody pricey drinks, as such I'm living off bread and water this coming week. She's going to have a hell of a hangover this morning though

Hockey match this afternoon, and a mate coming down after that for bikes etc. in the meantime studying etc.

Up Early and in to work today to switch on laptops for people who work in our Education dept and are too dense to do it themselves resulting in me having to stay here all day 'incase something goes wrong' numpties.
Then back in tomorrow to oversee a classical concert as the events officer that should be in has mananged to email me last Monday to say she's ill and couldn't possibly make it in on Sunday. How can you tell 6 days in advance?? Unless you've got the bad AIDS i guess. Still it's not my job and i'm not getting paid to come in which does not a happy Welshman make.

This is an unnaturally busy weekend thread.

I got some wierd lergy yesterday that made me go half deaf and get a ringing noise in my ears so conference calls at work were fun. Seems to have disappeared this am after an epic sleep so life goes on as normal and I'm trying some job avoidance for now :) No bikes this weekend though - it's going to lash down tomorrow.

  • Angry Bird As a student, don't you get dental treatment for free? If not, go to the local dental hospital. Living in Leeds had its advantages.

    Morning Losers!

I didn't crash whilst driving yesterday. I know that most of you are dissapointed with this, but all I will say to you is HA!
I was in a concert last night that went kind of ok. Laughing your head off when you're stood at the front isn't considered 'professional' but hey, that's what happens when you don't pay me! We then went to a friends house for food, and I got home around 3am. Tired was an understatement!

Today, I'm off to Winfields for a nice waterproof coat, then Bury are playing Morecombe so I'm off to see that. Being able to drive is such a luxury!

    Good Afternoon Freaks!

Weather's sh1te today, so I think I'll be spending the day productively... building Lego. I have the new "Battle of Hoth" set to build.

Apart from that, I think I'll be spending a lot of team eating today.

    Laters... :D
  • I think I'll be off to the lbs to shout angrily until my bike is fixed.

    That is all.

Lazy morning here got up at half 12.

Don't know why but headed out into the garden first thing then something happened and before I knew it id...

sorted all the crap out on my workbench, took everything off it so I could straighten it (made of wood and open to elements so a little warped and wonkey) then reorganised it and put it back in its right place.

Cleaned up the messy garden into bin bags and made a trip the local tip.

Started making a clearing in the corner of garden for where I'm going to build myself a better work area, with shelter.

Painted bathroom... Now ready for tiling

Bled the brakes on bike as I wasn't too happy with the front.

Had tea with the kids while watching mr poppers penguins.

Just finally sat down... Watching xfactor only cause its 80's week.

Don't know what I'm going to do tomorrow now.
