Is this a sportive? (near Stockton)

Drive to work this morning and came across several signs the style of which you'd normally see on a sportive, on my route from Bradbury through Bishopton near Stockton-on-Tees - map : http://goo.gl/maps/bzRZa

The signs themselves didn't give much away http://imgur.com/V4nkZgA aside from "Supported by Vision Express".

Anyone know what this is all about?

    It's for a 3 day charity ride from Gateshead to Nottingham. I found some info on the Vision Express website. Runs from Friday to Sunday. Only about 40 people doing it so someone has been working hard putting up signs for that route!

    Thanks! I tried following the signs but they ended up pointing back in the direction I came from, oh well!
