Archetype gray rims disaster prognosis ?

Came across this old article about anodized rims. The gray version of the Archetype is what H Plus Son call hard anodized rather than painted :shock:

Open PRO hard anodised have been around for ages and so have the Ambrosio Nemesis... I have seen some 10 years old ones which are perfectly fine... I wouldn't lose my sleep about that article.
